Glen Anderson

Glenn Anderson

Birthdate: October 2, 1960
Birthplace: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 190 lbs

Anderson was part of the Oilers Dynasty, having his name engraved in Lord Stanley's Cup five times as an Oiler, and once as a Ranger. Anderson hit the 500 goal mark in the 1996 winter, achieving what only a handful of athletes have accomplished.

Anderson was an enforcer. Not because of his size, but because of his aggressiveness. He wasn't afraid of anybody. He'd get the 'Are You Crazy?' look many times throughout the season.

Glen spent twelve years with the Oilers before moving to Toronto. Then, in 1994, he was traded to the New York Rangers in time to win a Stanley Cup with them. He returned on waivers to Edmonton after that to play for seventeen games, much to his dismay. He constantly whined about the lack of success that the Oilers had at that time, but netherless passed on some veteran experience to a young team.
